About the event
Norm Grossman is a longtime Laguna Beach leader whose impact spans engineering, education, and decades of civic service. A UCLA-trained engineer, Norm spent years in aerospace design and later as a senior professor and national academic specialist at DeVry University.
Since moving to Laguna Beach in 1978, Norm has been deeply involved in shaping the community. He served for over 25 years on the Laguna Beach Planning Commission and has contributed to major regional initiatives including Orange County’s growth management planning and transportation strategies.
Norm is currently President of Laguna Greenbelt, where he leads efforts to establish the Irvine-Laguna Wildlife Corridor—an ambitious նախագ project connecting thousands of acres of protected land to support biodiversity. He also serves as Vice President and Secretary of the Laguna Beach Beautification Council and continues to advise on local cultural and environmental initiatives.
